The course is 8 hours of instruction and it is essential that you arrive promptly at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the class. Bring your handgun into the class in a case, but LEAVE ALL AMMUNITION in your vehicle.

There will be at least five or more hours of class room instruction with lunch served on site. After classroom instruction we will proceed to the outdoor range. Driving instructions will be given at the class.

For the day of the class you are required to bring the following items:

•Handgun - If however, you do not own a handgun let us know in advance and we will make arrangements for you to use (free of charge) one of our handguns provided you purchase our ammunition.

•Case or bag for your handgun

•A good belt and a strong side vertical holster (1 ½” belt is recommended)

•Eye & ear protection

•Minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition (see below)

•Appropriate clothing for the range. (long sleeve shirt, cap or hat with a brim, good shoes). We shoot hot, cold, rain or snow

There is no reloaded ammunition allowed on the range. We allow only factory loaded ammunition.

Be aware that attending this course does not necessarily guarantee that you will be certified competent. If we feel your gun handling skills are not up to standards, we may require that you receive additional training before issuing you a completion certificate.
